Department of Dermatology Venereology and Leprosy

The Departments of Dermatology and venereology were started separately as OPD clinics in Govt general Hospital in pre-independence time with the establishment of Govt hospital in Kurnool. The full fledged departments started in1957-58 with Dr Ramachandra as Head of department and as Lecturer later Dr Sivakrishnamanaidu took over. Dr Nagabhushanam posted as Civil surgeon Specialist in 1968.
