It is the pride of our department that our first HOD Dr.VenkataRamaiah garu was the founder principal of our college whose leadership helped for the firm establishment of the college. An oration is being conducted in his name every year in the college inviting eminent speakers from different medical specialities.
Dr.K.Simhadri garu 2nd HOD of the department concentrated very much on research and got very good name to the department.
This department is also proud that Dr.K.Somasekhar Reddy garu another HOD,served as the principal of the college under whose tenure this department developed considerably infrastructurewise and could increase PG seats to four per year.
Dr.Rameswarudu garu, who took part in lot of research work even as a 1st MBBS student who knows A to Z about department,contributed very much for the academic upliftment of the department.
Prof K.Radhakrishna Murthy garu, UG student of this college did world famous research regarding the role of Insulin in the treatment of scorpion bote at Benarus Hindu University Varanasi.
